Project Background
In the field of waste oil recovery and treatment, the purification of waste marine oil is one of the key links. In traditional purification processes, waste marine oil is pumped into a tank and then treated with a dehydrating agent. The material needs to be heated to a specified temperature and then allowed to stand and separate. In the waste marine oil treatment process of a certain enterprise in Guangdong, two purification tanks with a diameter of 6.5m × 7m were heated for 10-12 hours in the original process. Not only does it affect processing capacity, but the average annual steam cost expenditure remains high.
Solution
In response to the high temperature and high viscosity working conditions of the customer, the MJN-2000/2-7.5 full flow mixing system is selected, equipped with double-layer high-efficiency axial flow blades (diameter 2000mm, speed 48rpm), and the motor is installed above the liquid level to ensure stable operation in high temperature and high concentration environments.
Implementation results
Significant improvement in process efficiency:
After the system is put into operation, the uniformity of the temperature field inside the tank is greatly improved, and the heat transfer efficiency is effectively improved. The heating time has been steadily reduced from 10-12 hours to 6 hours, and can be further shortened to 4 hours under ideal working conditions, significantly improving heating efficiency
Significant reduction in energy costs:
Based on an annual operation of 100 days and a steam cost of 2000 yuan per day, a single tank and single treatment can save approximately 8000 yuan in steam costs. The annual savings in operating costs for dual tanks are as follows:
2000 yuan x (10-6) hours x 2 cans x 100 days=1.6 million yuan.
Technical Highlights
Full flow field coverage: Axial mixing characteristics combined with double-layer blades ensure no dead zones and excellent temperature uniformity in the large diameter tank with a diameter of Ø 6.5m.
Efficient and energy-saving: With an installed power of 7.5kW, a significant amount of steam energy is indirectly saved by improving heat transfer efficiency.
Easy maintenance: No bottom bearings need to be installed for pools within 15 meters, and the motor is located above the liquid level, completely avoiding sealing problems in high temperature and high viscosity environments.
Material adaptation: In response to the corrosive characteristics of waste marine oil, stainless steel material can be selected to ensure long-term stable operation.

This renovation not only helped customers achieve an average annual direct economic benefit of 1.6 million yuan, but also improved equipment turnover by shortening processing cycles, creating space for enterprises to expand processing capacity.
